At the end of the year, at the invitation of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, Cambodia Manhattan Development Zone Investment Management Committee, Cambodia China Council and other units and suggestions of industry related enterprises, China Cultural, Educational and Sporting Goods Association organized the establishment of a Southeast Asian market delegation to Cambodia and Vietnam for a nine-day business and economic investigation activities.From 22 to 27 December, the mission successfully completed its study activities in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Svay Rieng provinces in Cambodia and Ho Chi Minh City in Viet Nam.

This is a journey to conform to the trend. In recent years, the total trade between China and ASEAN and the major economies in Southeast Asia has continued to rise, especially driven by cooperation strategies such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the construction of the ASEAN Economic Community, the economic integration between China and Southeast Asia is higher and the interests are more relevant. The trend of achieving common development through interconnected growth is becoming more and more obvious, and the importance of industrial cooperation is becoming increasingly prominent. It is necessary to further strengthen the docking and communication between industry associations (business), and lead enterprises to in-depth field and systematic investigations, broaden their horizons, and seek new development opportunities. At the Cambodia-Cambodia-China Council of Cambodia, Zhang Peisheng, head of the delegation, introduced the purpose of the visit to the representatives and entrepreneurs of the two sides and received positive responses from all parties. Lord CAI Dihua, rotating president of the Cambodia-China Council, said that the Cambodia-China Council and relevant enterprises in the industry will adhere to mutual help and win-win cooperation, and actively provide support and help for the development of Chinese cultural, educational and sporting goods industry enterprises in Cambodia.

This is a journey of openness and cooperation. During the visit, the representatives of the delegation carefully understood the relevant industrial planning of Cambodia, Vietnam and Southeast Asian markets, discussed relevant industrial policies in depth, inspected the situation of industrial parks, economic development zones and markets on the spot, and conducted all-round discussions and exchanges with the relevant institutions of Cambodia and Vietnam on customs, commodity inspection, finance, science and technology, standards, intellectual property rights, environmental protection and other aspects. Sharing their opinions, exchanging practical experience and learning from each other has created a good atmosphere for deepening friendship and strengthening cooperation.

During the inspection activities, Changjiang Paper (Vietnam) Co., LTD., Phoenix Painting Materials (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. and other enterprises that invested and built factories in Cambodia and Vietnam early received the delegation in good faith, and the person in charge of the enterprise led the delegation to visit the workshop and study in detail, which was well received by everyone. Zhang Jianjiang, director of the special Committee of the Paper Products of the China Recreational and Sports Goods Association and chairman of the Changjiang Paper Industry, said that enterprises in the industry should strengthen exchanges and cooperation, learn from each other, healthy competition, and jointly shape a good market environment, which is conducive to the development of the entire industry to high quality. Chen Weihong, chairman of Phoenix Painting Materials, introduced the operation of the company's factory in Vietnam and the current market situation to the delegation, focusing on sharing the experience of investing in the construction of the factory in Vietnam. The inspection activities have promoted openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation between enterprises, and benefited everyone.

This is a deep research trip. During the visit, the delegation visited relevant local government agencies and chambers of commerce and associations, walked into the economic development zone, went into the factory workshop, walked into the store terminal market, communicated with people from all aspects and levels face to face, observed, listened to and experienced the local economic environment, policy environment, consumption environment, social life, etc., and felt the vitality of emerging market countries.

During the exchange with Malaty, Director General of Svay Rieng Province of the Investment Management Commission of Cambodia, Head Zhang Pei-sheng pointed out: The purpose of the delegation's visit to Cambodia is to further implement the national dual-cycle development strategy, increase economic and trade cooperation with Southeast Asian countries and economies, deepen the traditional friendship between China and Cambodia, help the "Belt and Road" better development to achieve greater results, so that China's cultural and sports products industry enterprises in the practice of strengthening internal skills, improving quality and efficiency, transformation and upgrading at the same time. We should integrate into the world economy in a more open, inclusive and enterprising manner, develop the Southeast Asian market well, and form an economic and trade cooperation featuring internal and external linkage, mutual benefit and win-win results, and joint development and common prosperity. This was highly appreciated by Administrator Marati, who stated: Cambodia is currently undergoing a new round of economic and opening-up reform, especially many new economic policies are more friendly, convenient and affordable to foreign enterprises and investors, and the business environment is getting better and better in recent years. The Investment Management Committee will further do a good job in serving enterprises. We will continue to promote the development of China-Cambodia economic and trade cooperation to a higher level and greater scope.

This is a journey into the future. In recent years, the demand for cooperation and development between China and ASEAN has continued to rise, especially in the Southeast Asian market, where connectivity has become increasingly close. Cooperation in infrastructure construction, transportation, customs clearance and economic corridors is providing more and more favorable conditions for regional economic integration. In the Manhattan Economic Development Zone, Lord Yang Kecheng, head of the development zone, chairman of Manhattan Group and executive chairman of American Medical Group, introduced the construction situation, future planning, new projects, and medium-term construction goals of the park in detail, which received positive attention from everyone.
