Notebook Love marketplace has reported its best Q4 to date. and is launching a new spring offer to welcome new notebook sellers to join the online community.

Notebook Love was founded in 2016 by Glasgow-based business couple Consol and Kate Efomi and was recently opened up to fellow notebook sellers. Etsy-like in essence, but much more specialised and dedicated solely to notebooks and diaries, Notebook Love is currently offering over 50% off its annual membership for new sellers.

“We had such a great Christmas and so did our sellers. It was a record Q4,” says Kate Efomi. “We’re now ready to build on that success by inviting more maker-sellers to join us. Our community is growing and we have room for more diversity and variety in our offerings.”

During the pandemic, more customers have turned to online businesses for their shopping and Notebook Love has been no exception. “A5 notebooks with ruled pages are by far the most popular choice but the pandemic has brought more interest in niche designs too,” Kate continues. “Sketchbooks, recipe books, fabric-covered notebooks, personalised or monogrammed journals and eco-friendly designs have proved very popular. But categories that we are still looking to fill are notebooks with animal motifs, especially dogs and cats – the lockdown influence again, perhaps?! – plus a larger selection of sustainable designs and spiral-bound notebooks.”

Notebook Love seller, Write On It, have a broad range of products on the site, including their hugely popular left-handed notebooks and personalised family recipe books. "We’ve tried a few online marketplaces since we started trading in 2015,” says Sara Jaconelli of Write On It, “and with the support of team Notebook Love this site is the most successful.”

The Notebook Love marketplace is a way of helping designers and producers big and small. The site has recently welcomed sellers including Go Stationery, Vent for Change, Notebook Mentor, Charfleet Book Bindery, Night Navy and Code Naturel.

“We really been enjoying getting to know our sellers better and sharing the challenges and triumphs during this difficult time and we’re looking forward to welcoming more sellers to the community,” says Kate. “I love that we’re able to unite notebook buyers with notebooks sellers… and that we’re all notebook lovers!”
